Here, Bear & Everywhere - Come to the Teddy Bears' Picnic in Hertford this Sunday

So, Parenting Daily is now officially live in East Hertfordshire and we’re looking forward to engaging with parents and grandparents – plus local businesses – across Hertford, Ware, Hoddesdon and the surrounding region.

And this Sunday (June 29th) is our first opportunity to introduce ourselves in person, as we’re sponsoring the Teddy Bear’s Picnic at Hertford Castle.

It’s a great afternoon for families, running from 12pm to 4pm, and featuring a bouncy castle, face painting, stalls manned by local businesses and a teddy bear hunt. Plus Hertford’s Mayor, Councillor Miss Chantal Geall, will be judging the Best Dressed Teddy Bear competition.

In addition, kids’ rugby training centre Ruggerbugs will be demonstrating how the programme can enhance a child’s basic motor skills in a super fun (and noisy!) environment. You can find out more about Ruggerbugs by visiting the Parenting Daily stand at the event…

… and while you’re there, make sure you enter our free prize draw. We’ve got some amazing goodies for all the family up for grabs, including:-
  • A family day ticket to the fantastic kids’ festival Lollibop at Hatfield House this August (15th-17th)
  • A family pass to see Stevenage FC play West Ham United on Saturday July 12th
  • A £20 voucher for treatments at Blush beauty salon in Hertford
  • Two free personal training sessions with Hertford Combat Academy
  • A voucher for half a term of free Dinky Dancers sessions
  • Four free sessions with your local Ruggerbugs class
  • Dinner for two, including a bottle of wine at the Millstream, Hertford
  • Wimbledon High Tea for Two at the Millstream
  • 25% off a family portrait session with Paul Kennedy Photography
  • Bottle of champers
  • Xbox & PlayStation video games
We’ve also got balloons and lollipops to give away to all children (and adults) who pop by our stand. And look out for the two Parenting Daily dads wearing teddy bear onsies (we hope they don’t frighten the kids)…

See you there!

Lisa
